Feeling the weight of home ownership, Jim Anderson deals with plumbing troubles in the basement. Bothered by the constant needs of his kids, and their drama, the stress explodes along with the hot water heater.
Pushed to his limit, Jim phones the local realtor to put his rattle trap of a home on the market. The hesitant family members all quickly come to his side, and begin to anticipate the change. Has Jim been too hasty in his decision? Is there a new house in mind that the Andersons can move into?
The realtor has a client who is interested, and before there’s time to think, or clean the house, the woman is knocking at the door. The reality of saying goodbye to their old house forces the Andersons to reconsider in a big way. Can the family sabotage the sale and hang onto the emotional ties to the house? After some agonizing moments waiting, Jim takes the house off the market, and learns a secret about his realtor.
