The winds are fresh and the sky is fair as the Scarlet Queen sails a course to ship cargo through the South Pacific. Red Gallagher and Philip Carney marvel at the reception of the crusty old junk over the arrival of their sleek sailing ship. Just then, Philip spots an old friend from an earlier adventure. A Texan Cowboy, Mangin, and his sailing partner, Asin.
The four rivals get together for some frendly socializing. The dinner party was festive and a huge success, just listen and enjoy as Philip offers the color commentary on the event. When Carney returns to the Scarlet Queen he finds trouble though. What kind of valuables do the gunmen want from the Scarlet Queen?
This fine kettle of fish forces Carney and Gallagher to team up with Mangin and Asin to retrieve a National treasure, and a kidnapped girl. Philip offers voiceover to describe the mutual confrontation with a local warlord, complete with gunplay and fist fights. With Carney’s help, Mangin gets his kidnapped girlfriend back, but I think that little wildcat managed to get herself free on her own. That poor little old damsel in distress seems to already have solved the problem of the painting the warlords wanted as well. All that’s left is a final word between Carney and Asin before the Scarlet Queen sets sail once again.
