Uncle Jim and Betty are on the Spindrift, while Blackbeard approaches in a skiff with Jack and Billy who are tied up. The big man plans to rescue his boss, Dr. Chepeto. The big pirate also has Michel, one of his henchmen. He isn’t aware that Michel is now Jack’s friend after being rescued from a shark.
The now grateful friend helps untie our heroes. Will they be able to surprise their captors and warn uncle Jim of the arrival of Blackbeard? From their perspective in the skiff, the Spindrift looks empty and dark. Is there anyone on board?
Blackbeard is growing suspicious and thinks Jim Fairfield may be up to something sneaky. The henchmen in the skiff board the ship, and Jack and Billy comment on the action that explodes on the Spindrift.
Where is uncle Jim? Has Dr. Chepeto gotten away? In the uproar, uncle Jim and Betty make it to the skiff, and everyone heads to shore and safety.
Blackbeard and his henchmen take pursuit.
It looks like the only thing to do to shake their pursuers is to go to head hunter country.
