The black shadows of night cover the science lab at Hudson High, where uncle Jimmy is hard at work. Certain that their enemies may try to break in tonight, Billy, Jack, and Betty prowl the hallways.
Expectation has our teenage friends on edge as they anticipate the arrival of Dirk and Blackbeard. What are the bad guys trying to steal? Nautical charts that lead to a sunken treasure of uranium? Secret plans for uncle Jims new invention? A token of importance in a manilla envelope? Not to worry, fakes have been lanted, and high tech tracking measures have been put into place that use that new fangled thing called television. I wonder if there will ever be a good use for that anyway.
As Dirk riffles through the darkened lab, our heros watch a surveillance camera. At the key moment though the camera is found out, and the bad guys take some measures of their own to escape. Will Blackbeard and Dirk be back to try again?
