Murphy gives the order for his caravan to arm themselves, but its too late. Lost in the sand storm, the explorers fall into the hands of their attackers. Robbed, tied up, and buried in a sand dune up to their necks, all hope is lost.
Praying as they meet their maker, the wind shifts, and the drifting sand no longer rises to cover them. A miracle happens, and the wind begins to uncover the men. First a shoulder is free, then more of their bodies. All that’s left is for Murphey to recount to the club the details of his race to freedom.
