The Coogot’s pack for a trip to Liz’s mom’s. Liz drives out, and George is to join her after his board meeting. As Liz visits, her mom drops the bombshell, she’s going to get married again. Swept off her feet by a Texas oil man, she and Liz share an emotional, and comical moment.
After George arrives, they all meet the wealthy Texan of few words. Mr Carson has a surprise of his own, his old saddle buddy and best man for the wedding visits. Though Mr Carson is quaint, and easy to get along with all by himself, his friend, and other plans are a bit over the top. Mom definitely begins having her doubts.
It all ends well when Mr Carson is called back to Texas on pressing business. Over his horse?
