The doctor pays a house call to the high strung Lucia. He admits his tonic had a trace amount of poison, but at a harmless level. Can he assure the emotional woman that everything will be alright? When her husband tries to force the tonic on Lucia, she panics. Her only friend is the maid, and even her suspicions rise when she is sent away for a few days.
When Miss Benson chevkes on her employer, she finds a bloody mess, and Lucia is missing. Will the cops believe the story of dreams that predicted a murder? The doctor testifies about his hypochondriac patient, and circumstances point to Mr Durant and Beverly.
