As Molly unpacks, Fibber plans to take his Summer time film down to the drugstore to be developed. Suddenly Fibber realizes he may have left his camera on the train. Is there hope of getting it back? The Old Timer welcomes Fibber and Molly home. Fibber feels like a new man, but that ain’t the way the Old Timer hear’d it. He tells about his Summer job at the defense plant. Fibbers call to the train station is side tracked by Mirt the phone operator. Billy Mills plays a peppy tune.

Down at the station, the McGees look for the Lost and Found department. Will the gabby information desk man be able to help out? Abigail Uppington is at the station to show off her hat, and tell about her Summer of selling war bonds. Harlowe Wilcox puts a young, fresh, spin on delivering the sponsor message.

At the Lost and Found, Fibber gets his camera, then meet Mayor Latrivia. War bond rallies and civil defense functions have kept the blustery politician busy. Fibber gets confused and thinks the mayor smells like inscence. The Kingsmen sing, Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition.

As Molly goes to get the rest of Fibbers undeveloped film, Teeny pops in for a visit. She went savage in collecting salvage to boost the scrap drives. Wallace Wimple welcomes the McGee’s home, and tells about his new tattoo. His big old wife Sweetie Face is still keeping the henpecked husband in his place. Fibber’s all set to develop all his film… right?
