    Just an FYI….
While it is pronounced “Mannering”. The correct spelling is “Mainwaring”. In fact, in one episode the pompous Captains Square says something like, “Well, if it’s not pronounced ‘Mainwaring’ why is it spelled ‘Mainwaring'”?

I knew I wasn’t spelling it correctly, but I didn’t think I was that far off. Thanks for letting me know
