ernie Witman hosts, and introduces Lucky Millander as he plays. Next, the Charioteers read from the mail bag, then sing, Red River Valley. Butterfly McQueen talks to Ernie briefly before Judy Carol makes her appearance. Butterfly is eager to meet Rochester when he arrives later.
Judy Carrol sings, Stormy Weather. Lucky plays, St. Louis Breakdown. Rochester talks to Ernie about his valet… Jack Benny. Then sings, Consequence (joined by Judy Carol). Just not long ago, Rochester made an appearance where he sang with Lena Horne. In my opinion she did a much better job, although Judy isn’t any too shabby either.
Ernie introduces Rochester to Butterfly
McQueen. Using her feminine charms, she tries to lure Rochester in, but he isn’t going for it. Lucky Millander dips
into the mail bag then plays, Cherokee.
As Ernie signs off, Butterfly returns with a report on her exploits with
Rochester.
