After a quick word on having Eddie get his guest to appear on the show, Dinah shore sings, Wait for Me.

Jokes revolve around elections, political parties and scandals. What changes might Eddie and his cast like to make in the political cabinets? They discuss various Hollywood celebrities in office, and which ones might be best qualified.

Since Al Jolson calls Washington DC his home town, its the transition Eddie needs to flashback to how he got his old friend to appear on the show. Meeting Al in his Palm Springs home, they agree to not do those tired old jokes on Eddie’s daughters, or how rich Al is. meanwhile, we learn a little about Al’s parenting skills with his latest son.

To transition Al Jolson sings, the one I Love Belongs to Somebody Else.

Returning to Eddie’s stage, we find the old friends joking about… what else… Eddie’s daughters and how rich Al is. it comes with a price though, and both vaudevillians come armed with their own cash registers to count up the fines.
