After some of the typical confusion of daily life, Jane is excited over being accepted to a club. Irma is upset that the club participation will drive a wedge into their friendship. Could Jane pull some strings to get Irma in as well?

Even the professor has upsetting news of his own, he’s a little upset that Mrs Riley has turned on him, and left him for another. Al has a new business idea, and a plan for his future.

The first order of business is to have Jane interview for her club, and win acceptance. The matron of the club agrees to give Irma a chance, but wants to meet her casually. With such an important person coming, and with all on the line, can Irma impress the woman?

With some coaching from Al, Irma tries to memorize impressive things to say. If nothing else, the interview is designed for maximum confusion, and laughs. Irma certainly has an affect on people she meets. Al won’t stand for the results, and phones his friend Joe for some advice. Will Irma get into the club? Will she crash Janes club bowling party? All she wants is to be included, and not be left alone.
