A truck driver who is an ordinary guy holds the lives of 3 people in his hands. As he relaxes at the bar, he thinks that nothing special ever happens in his life. Meanwhuile, a love triangle is about to come to a boil. Sam is a pilot who is gone much of the time. Is Hellen cheating on him with another man? He begins to get suspicious and investigate. If it’s true, Sam just can’t go on living without her. He’d kill the other man.
How does Eddie, the bored truck driver fit into the picture? Sam discovers Jack at home with Hellen, and the heavy drinking doesn’t cover the hurt emotions. Is there a plot to kill Sam to get him out of the way? After his drunken blackout, Sam staggers to town and develops his own plan for murder and revenge. Will his set up be believed? Has he faked his death, and hidden his survival of his near drowning well enough?
To supply all the evidence the district attorney might need, Sam goes overboard with planting evidence. Walking down a desserted road, Sam crosses paths with Eddie. A secret about that drunken night and blackout is revealed. Suddenly, Sam’s situation is changed. Will he intervene with Hellens fate with the law? With all the twists thus far, the Whistler still has one more up his sleeve. Eddie holds the key, but will he realize it?
