Dangerous Assignment – Nigerian Safari. 490723

On a mountain pass in the hills of West Africa, two men talk on the swaying platform of a midnight train. Suddenly one man is thrown from the train, a matter that’s soon to get the attention of Steve Mitchell. As he takes the assignment we learn about the mining of manganese, and the cartel that’s looking to corner the market on it.

Posing as a foreign corespondent, Steve follows the footsteps of his missing fellow agent. Will people believe Steve’s cover story? As he approaches the mountain pass where his partner was killed, the bullying thugs of the cartel are close on Steve’s heels.

Clues emerge to confirm the demise of the previous agent who tried to pass this way. Dangers still abound as lions and other scary things attack the safari. Steve isn’t entirely convinced that it’s all just random hazards of nature.

Will Steve survive to see the remote village? What might he learn from the chief there? Will it be a matter of winning trust with the tribe to convince them to do business with one side or the other? Maybe gunplay will play the deciding factor.
