The official arrives, and the absent minded man gets Lum riled over the thought of losing the school teacher.
The stranger mentions he’ writing a book on psychology. Is this an area that Lum can help him research? Lum shares that he started a book during the time he was a martyr in jail. The man is more interested in talking with Cedric. Huh? What does Cedric know in the area of psychology?
Lum has a hard time realizing what the book is to be about. Cedric is to be the object of study, not a contemporary to consult with. The misunderstandings lead the man to think Lum just might be a good subject for a book. What kind of notes has the author written up so far? Wouldn’t Lum like to know.
