As we join our travelers, we find that Abner has lost their train tickets. With only thirty five cents between the two of them, there’s little hope of Squire and Abner buying more. Being the con man that he is, Squire lays out a plan to get tickets without money. Will Abner go along with the sneaky plan?
What about the guy in the information booth? Can he answer Abner’s questions? How far is California? What train do you take to Africa? The confused information man is rescued when Squire gets Abner’s attention.
The plan is set up, but will Abner be able to remember the complex instructions? Squire joins him to carry out their ruse. The plan goes along too well, but will the ticket agent be fooled?
