After becoming inspired as she had breakfast in the bathtub… Huh? Just listen, it’ll make sense. Gracie shares her concept for a new musical. After each of the cast make their appearance, the musical kicks right off. It’s about Henry the 8th. Jokes about wives, marriage, beheading, and other kingly things related to that famous monarch thread their way through the songs. Not to mention there’s dialog in between the music to keep up the spoof musical.
Note: There’s jokes about not knowing when Thanksgiving is. Just a couple years earlier, the president moved the holiday to enhance the buying season for Christmas. Whether it helped or not is debatable, but it was ripe for comedians to joke about. Later it would move back to it’s current place as the 4th Thursday in November.
