As our episode starts, the pirate Escobar still has the stolen gold, and is setting a trap for Clark, Jimmy, and professor Thorpe. When Jimmy is missing, Clark gets worried, but does he suspect the danger his young friend is getting into?
Clark suspects that Escobar is behind the disappearance, and Superman flies off to deal with the pirate. Amazingly, an earthquake helps Superman’s cause in defeating Escobar, but will it help him locate Jimmy? In a revealing moment, Superman leaves a hint that he may someday reveal his secret identity to Jimmy.
