Our Miss Brooks – Audiovisual Experiment. 550828.

Though Connie Brooks and Mr Conklin have had their rough spells, lately things have been smoother. Wow, I’ll bet that can’t last.

Connie recounts her latest date with Mr Boynton as flashback mode goes into full swing. Among the topics of the day is watching educational movies at school. The silver tongued Walter Denton drops in to join the fun and tell about the audio visual experience in class. There was a mix up in the film that was shown. What will Conklin think when he learns of the racy film that was substituted by accident?

When mix ups aren’t an isolated incident, and news of it reaches Mr Stone, the head of the school board, Connie is worried that heads will roll. You would think that with the rampant mixups, the film company will make good on their mistakes, instead of continuing to charge the school to rent more films.

How can Connie prove to Mr Stone that the project to show films in school is worthy? Why, by showing more films of course. The rental ordeal is ironed out, and a film is arranged. Still a screening might be in order before Mr Stone arrives, especially when it means some cozy moments in the dark for Connie and Boynton. There surely won’t be yet another mix up will there? What kind of comedy would it be if things went right?

Enjoy some classic reactions, slow burns, and some dirt being exposed on some stodgy school board officials when the happy ending finally arrives.
