The gents discuss the hotel and resort that has been in the works. BJ Webster has been running the project, and it could bring plenty of business to the small town, and be big potatoes. Hmmm… a choice of words that’s sure to get Abner mixed up.
Lum has made up his mind, and has emptied their joint savings account to invest. BJ Webster enters to congratulate Lum on his wise business investment. Abner is still a little muddled on the idea of potatoes, but the gents have their curiosity laid to rest as BJ express confidence in his analysis of the water.
Though they wanted to keep their report secret, Abner lets it slip that they had their own testing done. BJ asks to take the report, to compare it to his own for any differences. Is this deal an honest one? Lum is sure it is, but what about Abner?
