Bud thinks Lou is getting dumber and more conceited every day. Bud tells all about how stuck up Lou is over their work in the studio, making their current movie. Lou brags on his ability with the women, and his good looks. The guys talk about Lou’s latest girlfriend, and Lou gets confused over some of the words and figures of speech that Bud uses. Lou introduces a new singer who has been an arial gunner in the war, Bob Matthews. Bob sings, I Should care.

Lou has it figured out, he’s too pretty to keep on being a comedian, he wants to be a dramatic leading man. Both Bud and Lou brag and compare notes on their family backgrounds and their qualifications to be a serious actor. A phone call comes in and the director needs a dramatic actor for their movie. It’s the part of a Spanish woman, and Lou is up for the challenge. It’s off to Mellonhead’s acting school where Lou gets a crash course.

Connie Haines sings, Everytime I Fall In Love.

Bud now has Lou at the studio, and he’s dressed up as a Spanish Lady. Can he pull it off, and convince the movie director that he can do the part? Mel Blanc is the director and falls in love with Lou as the Spanish Lady. Despite lapses in character, Lou has his big chance and is put into the big love scene.
