Lou has it figured out, he’s too pretty to keep on being a comedian, he wants to be a dramatic leading man. Both Bud and Lou brag and compare notes on their family backgrounds and their qualifications to be a serious actor. A phone call comes in and the director needs a dramatic actor for their movie. It’s the part of a Spanish woman, and Lou is up for the challenge. It’s off to Mellonhead’s acting school where Lou gets a crash course.

Mel Blanc is the director and falls in love with Lou as the Spanish Lady. Despite lapses in character, Lou has his big chance and is put into the big love scene.
