Lou is mixed up and excited over all the pin up girls in his room. He then tells Bud about his uncle getting a divorce, which kicks off a series of jokes about marriage.

Bud asks about the split up between Lou and his girlfriend. Lou has rebounded well as he tells about his latest date with a new girlfriend. Abbott struggles over a line as the dating jokes continue. Commercial time.

Will Osbourne plays that current favorite, Candy.

Bud is bent on hooking up Lou with a date, A gal named Emma Fidlebuster, who comes out to do some verbal sparring with Lou about love and dating. What Lou would really like is a date with Connie Haines. Bud arranges the date, but only if Lou goes to a charm school class. Professor Mellonhead is the teacher who takes on the verbal abuse from Lou as he attempts to transform Lou into a gentleman. Jokes about manners, and dining habits are the order of the day. Lou even gets a lesson in speaking French. Commercial time.

Connie Haines sings the first public performance of that ever popular classic, Hubba Hubba Hoy. Hey, it may not have ever made it to classic status, but the way she sings it… Hubba Hoy right back at her.

Bud and Lou are in the nightclub, but Lou has only brought $4. The waiters aren’t impressed with Lou’s tight wad tipping. After a long walk to their table Lou talks to a drunken Mel Blanc.

After learning of the tough treatment for those who can’t pay their bill, Bud and Lou put on a show of arguing over the check as they make plans to duck out. Will they make it? Will they ever hook up with Connie Haines? With time in the show rapidly running out, probably not.
