The evenings drama is Jack and Jill, written for radio by Dawson Bells from the nursery rhyme of the same name. The tormented Jack wrestles with himself whether to fetch the pale of water, or kill his father. Jack goes to fetch the water, and meets Jill. Love birds sing in the trees. At last, Jack can’t resist the voices in his head so he has killed his father, he and Jill are at the top of the hill. Now the two are fugitives running from the long arm of the law. With the demands put on the sound affects man, he gets mixed up and takes his own revenge.
