Audio is a little staticky, but OK.
Russell arrives home to find that Vic is a little disgruntled. What’s the matter? What is all the hollering about? It seems that Vic has committed himself to a greeting card business, but it’s not for Christmas cards. He has a pile of birthday cards that someone from the office sweet talked him into taking off their hands.
The poetic messages inside the cards hold true to the wacky and wierd stuff that Paul Rimer is known for in the Christmas card episodes. Russell laughs at the crazy messages, but Sade can’t help being disappointed in Vic’s poor decision. The condescending attitude from Sade only serves to cause Vic to kick himself even harder at his poor choice.
What made him do something so stupid? Despite how good the idea seemed at the time, or the favor he was doing for his co-worker, Vic can see all too clearly in retrospect. Hindsight is 20/20, and nothing anybody can say in encouragement or admonitionm does anything but make Vic spiral the more deeper into his personal rage. .
PS: I’ll bet I know how Vic could have been so stupid. All it would take is to have one of those flirtatious secretaries at the office to wrap him around their little finger. With his ego properly stroked, he’d easily buy the whole batch of cards. No need for Sade to sink in those claws this time for his marital indiscretion.. Vic has had his own wak up call, and feeling terrible enough about it all by himself. No wonder Sade gets so bent out of shape when he let’s himself be lured in by those secretaries. He’s so vulnerable to go overboard on one of his childish binges. I still think that if Sade did her own flirtatiouns towards Vic, he’d be less susseptible to the feminine wiles f other women.
