It’s breakfast time, but George is unaware that his kitchen has been overrun by the bane of his existence, the Beverly Hills Uplift Society. The ladies just want to support the war effort. What can they auction off to raise money? Gracie has a connection to the tall, English actor, Brian Ahern. Will the ladies be able to get him involved in the auction? The girls manage to get Brian Ahern’s undershorts, just in time for Bill Goodwin to pitch the sponsor message.
Jimmy Cash sings, I Love You. By auctioning Brian’s shorts, the girls plan on a successful auction, but Brian enters to get his… well… you know… unmentionables back. Not getting anywhere with Gracie, Brian goes to George for some comic mix up. George thinks Brian is talking about the Uplifters, and Brian thinks George is talking about his shorts.
Felix Mills and the Swantettes sing, Sweet Georgia Brown. Heading home, more mix ups abound. George thinks Gracie is having a baby, though the secret of the shorts is out. Will Brian be roped into being in one of Gracie’s plays? He will if he wants to see his shorts again.
