Red tells Truman about his Victory Garden, and the two give a little advice on raising backyard crops through their joking. Ozzie and Harriot tell about their own gardening experiences.

Red talks with Truman about Spring cleaning, which leads into portraying Clem Kadiddlehopper as he deals with going to a dance with his gal, Daisy Doo. He’s busy doing some Spring cleaning, and she offers some housekeeping advice. Daisy is working on a birthday surprise for him with her knitting. Clem gets a little distracted by a soap salesman, and decides to do some personal Spring cleaning, and take a bath.
Deadeye is sitting around the Red Devil Salloon when he decides to clean up the town. He first has to deal with an annoying piano player, and a salloon girl.
After a little bragging, Ozzie picks up to play a tune.
J Newton Numbskull talks to Truman about his wife taking a bath, which leads into the mid show commercial.
Next, Junior is helping mom with the house cleaning. She wants him to leave her alone so she can get her work done, but he insists on helping. The junkman stops in to see if there’s any pick ups, but when Junior takes the cat out he gets in trouble over breaking things. While mom is distracted on the phone, Junior helps the junk man find things to take from the attic. I don’t think mom will like the help he gives.
