When a freight wagon has run away, Bill and Jingles setop the mule pulling it to rescue Cathy, and her dad, a couple old friends. Who is that character in the handlebar moustache, and checkered vest? First it’s time for a break to stock up on that sugary, crispy treat that you can eat right out of the box like candy.
It seems that Max Murphy, a rival freight owner from Tennessee is competing for the same bid for the freight run. But Cathy and her dad have their eyes onit, and it would help out their personal livelyhood. Hey, why not have a race? The winner can take the contract!
The two wagons haul their goods for a hundred miles, and the first one to deliver wins. Watch out! Right from the start sabotage makes an appearance with damage done to Cathy’s wagon. There’s gunshots on the trail, and there’s dangers aplenty ahead.
Bill and Jingles ride the trail to make sure things don’t go too far afoul. Still… you know what we need to do? Stop for a top off on those tasty treats with the sugar already on them so we can keep up our energy, and the suspense level as we join our heros again for the exciting conclusion.
Who will win? Is there more under the surface than just a business rivalry?
