Down in Pine Ridge, Abner is still trying to make amends with the married men he caused trouble with by sending their pictures to his matrimonial clients. Dick Huddleston talks with him today as they make amends and talk about making up with the others in town.
Birtie Collins is in town to meet Lum, but he has been hiding out so he won’t have to meet her. She is taking the meeting seriously, and is looking to get married. Will she be able to out wait Lum and have her chance to meet each other. Dick leaves so Abner can get to the phone. It’s just Lum trying to see if the coast is clear.
Squire pops in to talk with Abner about a business deal. It’s actually to take a collection for a lodge brother who is in need of help. Abner gets a troubling phone call from Lizabeth.
