Now lets see what’s happening in Pine Ridge. Lum and Abner have a windfall of money, but are afraid to report it to the authorities. Today Abner and Cedric talk and everybody seems to know what’s going on around town with their situation, although Lum is speculating the cash is a set up. Will the gents get into trouble over having marked bills? Are there spies lurking around town? Who is that stranger in town? He has Lum so jumpy he can’t stand it. Is there a place to hide the money?
Squire approaches, and as Lum is suspicious and paranoid over the slightest thing, he is panicky. We never find out what happens since the audio abruptly stops.
