On a cold and blustery day, a couple of miners persist in working their claim, when shots are fired, and tragedy strikes. Wild Bill and Jingles are on the scene in response to Mr Callahan and Mrs Bailey to look for her missing brother. Bill is clued in to pay a visit to an indian named Wild Horse. He is the one who sold the miners the map that sent them to their claim. Can he draw them another map, or tell them where the miners might be? Just then, more gunshots ring out, and the old indian is killed.
But first, it’s time to get a whole load of those tasty treats to satisfy all the taste buds in the family. Cram yur head full of that sugary goodness as yu listen in to the upcoming adventure and mystery.
The shooter killed poor old Wild Horse, so it’s up to Bill and Jingles to brave the wintery weather to track down the bad guys. They find a couple of frozen bodies, but it wasn’t the cold that killed them. Besides being slightly mauled by a big cat, there are gunshot wounds. Is the killer still lurking? Is he watching Bill and Jingles right now? there’s nothing much more to do but set up camp and try to stay warm.
While gathering firewood, Jingles steps over a cliff, but when Bill comes to save him, a big cougar pounces. With Jingles dangling, Bill shoots the big cat, but he gets away. Little does Bill know yet that the cat is being set on him. As He and Jingles follow the tracks, Bill notices a man’s footprints, and something else that’s peculiar. They find the old mine, but also a counterfeiting machine, and the big cat. Bill is forced to kill the cougar when it attacks, and his trainer is no trouble to take down. Suddenly though the real man behind the set up shows himself, and captures Bill and Jingles.
I feel the need to refresh my sugar rush. Where’s my pops! I must have pops! Hey, I wonder if my hed will just fit inside this box so I can get those last little crumbs…
The mastermind is Mr Callahan, and he regains controll of the situation. his plan is to leave Bill and Jingles to freeze to deth, but Bill has other ideas. It isn’t much trouble for our heros, and a fist fight breaks out. With the bad guys tied up, and a roaring camp fire blazing, Jingles finally gets to warm himself as Bill tells the mystery, and how he figured out who the bad guys were ahead of time.
