At least that’s Abners plan, but grandpap drags his heels at Abners offer. Grandpap shares the latest happenings at the social event that’s going on. Lizabeth has her heart set on going, but it takes an invitation to get into the high society banquet. Abner isn’t sure he wants to take part in the party, but it seems to be the talk of the town.
Cedric stops in, and maybe Abner can hire him back to work. It seems that Cedric has bought into Silver Mine stock, along with most of the town, and that’s why everyone is so excited on the new high society lifestyle.
Lum finally enters to reveal that he’s the one behind the Silver Mine fad.
