A matter of murder has Mr. Keen on the case, over a sapphire known as the star of death.
A Sapphire is missing; the jeweler is murdered. What happened to the precious stone? Mr. Keen is sure that whoever the killer is still at large, and in pursuit of the stone. He works with the police to set a trap that will allow him to track the killer to the missing star of death.
A group of suspects are gathered together in mystery novel fashion. Each accuse the other of the deed. Mr. Keen is about to blow the lid off the mystery, but listen in for yourself to see if you can put the finger on the killer before he does.
Who is the jewel thief, and killer of the wealthy jewel merchant? Here’s a hint, it involves an interesting library desk with a secret panel.
