Lou comes in with exciting news about his radio station. But interviews him about his involvement with shortwave. Ken Niles might make a good announcer for Lou, if he has small hands. He needs to have a small pause for radio identification. Mrs. Niles arrives to tell about her leaning toward soldiers. After the swapping of insults, Bud warns Lou that he needs to improve his attitude for customer service.
Bud interrupts Lou’s telephone conversation to let him know he’s been in contact with the talent agency. Lou wasn’t sure he needs an agency, since he has singing talent. Lou was rude to a singer that the agency sent over, but then Cary Grant arrives. What brings him over? He is heard a lot about Lou’s funny jokes. He’s also brought over his own talent to showcase for Lou. What does the man do? Carrie gives Lou a little sample.
Cary Grant has more help for Lou’s radio station. What he needs is a great writer. It’s the same guy who had that lackluster performance, but now he is a writer. Carrier reads a spoof commercial I got caring for a toupee. Next up, Carrie presents a snippet of an all-night music program, including more radio ads and announcements.
