Bud tries to spark Lou’s imagination by relating a dramatic, although sometimes confusing portrayal as the police reporter. Hedda Hopper arrives and uses her skills as a gossip columnist to help out the Sherman Oaks Gazette. Will Lou be impressed by her range of contacts?
