Audio is good, but not the best. Madeline Hughes is in need of protection, and the life of a desperate man depends on having Marlowe find her. As the kiddies wrap up their trick or treating, Marlowe soon finds himself in his own world of spookiness, and murder.

Back at the party, Philip discovers himself on the trail of a man in a brown tweed suit. Instead, he finds a body. Who was the man, and how can Marlowe use the killing to his advantage to catch a killer? Will Marlowe be in time to rescue Madeline, the green eyed, red headed witch of the ball? In epilog, all the bits of the twisted tale are revealed.
