In his constant rehashing of the speech, Fibber delivers plenty of patriotic pitches for the Red Cross. Mr. Wellington arrives with no hard feelings and wants a copy of the speech for the newspapers. Harlowe Wilcox uses some of Fibber’s radio sound effect enhancements for his speech, for delivering the sponsor message.

Doc Gamble pops in to offer advice for the speech, and add to the patriotic description the Red Cross does. It’s off to the studio, where Fibber faces his big moment, but will it go well for him?
