Buy Bonds: A large billboard on the exterior of a building promoting war savings stamps. It reads, "Pledge your quarters for victory, buy and invest wisely in War Savings Stamps." The text highlights that these are "guaranteed by U.S. Government” with "4% interest." The advertisement encourages supporting the war. The scene includes a street view with trees, a building with columns, and a decorative streetlamp in front.

When it comes to obtaining raw materials for the war effort, Nazi Germany puts all bargaining aside. The only deals are those that meet their own demands. Embargos are placed. As the Nazi armies occupy more lands, businessmen in those countries must play ball with the Nazi rules, or face going out of business. With the outrageous demands from the Nazi’s, bankruptcy, ruin, and loss are the norms.

Under pressure from the Nazi government, banks offer a hostile environment for businesses to operate. Soon, Nazi’s control the banks, business loans, and collect on the defaulted mortgages to control the properties and assets of much of Europe. Whatever can’t be obtained by such unethical measures is simply confiscated outright.
