Lum and Abner – Lum And Abner Worry About Jail. 420323

Lum, Abner and their real-life wives are sitting together on a bench outdoors, near a pool. They appear relaxed and are smiling at each other. The two people on the left are wearing casual attire, while the two on the right are dressed more formally, with the person on the far right in a light-colored suit and bow tie. Trees are visible in the background under a clear sky, suggesting a pleasant day.

After Lum caught Abner and Cedric cranking out counterfeit ten-dollar bills, he convinced them it wasn’t due to any magic in the printing press.

Today Abner groans at the thought of going to jail, but it was Lum who was caught red handed with the press, while Cedric did the bulk of the printing and Lum was the delivery man to transport the packages of bills. Still, Abner worries at what Lizabeth and little Pearl will think about his fallen ways.

Public enemy, Lum, has his own troubles in convincing the government agent that it was Diogenes who was the ring leader. Too late, Lum understands why Diogenes left him in full charge when he left town, along with making connections with more of the odd happenings in Pine Ridge lately. What does the note from Mousey Gray say? Will it offer some new clue for Lum? Has all of Lum and Abner’s friends turned against them? Grandpap may be able to bring some light back into their Wonderful World.
