A train is due in at the station, and matt is joined by Doc and Chester to meet the dapper son of a rough rancher. The 20-year-old Tom has a few new lessons to learn now that he’s out West. Old Cleveland is all set to teach his son a few things. How will Matt deal with a new gunslinger being trained in town?

Tom proves to be a fast learner, taking to all the feats that his braggart father claims to be proficient at doing. Will the bragging papa still be so proud when he learns that his boy has gunned down a man?

Kitty comes to matt, worried that Mr Cleveland is acting crazy as he sits in the Longbranch drinking. The man who was gunned down was a known hardcase with a bad reputation. Now the son is the target of other similar hard men.
Though Cleveland has been a bragger all his life, he has to deal with his son’s fate. Is the 20-year-old son just as much out of his head when he goes to the showdown with the frontier gunman? Matt is pleased to find that Tom may be a big enough man to teach his bragging, cowardly dad a few lessons.
