Today’s performance is for the Signal Corps in the Sunny South where troops are stationed in the Ozarks of Southern Missouri.

Kay jokes about the local culture of the Ozarks. Ish kabibble makes his appearance to joke about girls, soldiers, and the like. Kay’s band plays, Nobody Could Love You Like I Do. His vocalist sings, Goodnight Sweet Dreams Sweetheart.

Quiz time, and Kaye jokes with Bertie about Washington chopping down the cherry tree. The questions and fill in the blank questions are designed for the young soldiers of the Signal Corps to handle fairly easily. Full of pop culture and job-related clues.

The Town Cryer’s sing, One Meatball.

Round two of the quiz begins with more of the fill in the blank stories. Musical clues and topics about chasing girls local geography and culture.

Kaye’s vocalist sing, Accentuate the Positive. The final round brings the winners of the first two rounds to face off against each other. One question is given, and the first to answer wins. If nobody wins the prize rolls over to the next game.

War bonds, and cash prizes are awarded all around.

PS: With the joke about Washingtons Birthday in the show, it would imply the original air date was in February. If the show numbers are an indication of date, it might be in 1943 or 44.
