At the movie studio Jake is worried about business. When Sydney and Harold enter, they only make him worry even more. Do they have good news or bad? Sidney has been working on his big movie extravaganza, and he has to break the news to Poppa about the price tag. They try to soften the news warning him about extras, costumes, set design and more. The thing Jake wants to know is what’s the bottom line. Becky enters to break the tension when she comes for a visit.
As Sydney and Harold see their chance to make their retreat from the office, Jake’s worries seem to soften as he complains to his wife about not being in charge.
Jake makes his own wild guesses at how much he thinks this project is costing him. He makes a promise to Becky that if it cost a penny more than his estimate, he’ll just die. Calling Sidney and Harold back into his office he demands that they tell him the price of their movie. With Becky’s help, the sons-in-law admit it’s going to cost 10 times more then Jake’s figure Jake. Will Jake die, or just go unconscious?
