Little does Annie know, but her island is about to be attacked by a rival. Can she, Joe, and their friend Wilcox build a radio out of the parts they have in time to signal for help? Even if they build a transmitter, will it be powerful to contact the civilized world?
Far away, in Valparaiso, Chili, Daddy Warbucks is on his yacht. He hasn’t heard from Annie in months, and is determined to lead his own search to find her. Will his friends begin to convince him to abandon the search? Is all hope lost in finding Annie?
With cooperation from all the governments, and tracking down her last known whereabouts, hope of ever finding Annie is looking bleak. All the rich man asks for is one more week, but will it be long enough?
PS: In existing episodes, this is the first time we find Daddy Warbucks on the show. Given the long run of the show, I’m surprised there hasn’t been more appearances of Daddy Warbucks. Even in these early shows, with all the missing story arcs, he has been hinted at. Annie is either just returning, or just getting ready to meet him for an adventure, but he is always a little out of sync with the shows. Maybe he’ll be in more, but in a few more installments, the story arcs get broken up pretty badly, with huge gaps.
