Kaye Kaiser – Kollege Of Musical Knowledge – Beautiful Eyes. ep107, 400410

"Piano keys arranged in a wavy line."
curvacious keyboard

Performed at Camp Pendelton for the US Marines. Kaye Kaiser chats it up with announcer, Bill Foreman about hanging out with the Marines, their training, and of course, chasing girls. Ish kabibble has a poem to share as he joins the conversation to joke about birds.

Time to put on some mood music as Kaye’s vocalist sings, Beautiful Eyes. The first round of the quiz kicks off. The usual game is to use musical clues for fill in the blank questions, but the contestants today are offered questions based on the current social and political culture. Also a few historic questions in the mix. Often the hints are hot, heavy, and borderline on giving away the answer, but today the game is a little on the conservative and serious side.

Ish kabibble and Kaye swap jokes on a political slant, running for office, and getting elected. Before the next round starts Ish kabibble shares a lyrical poem of love. Wow, now that was actually pretty funny and cute.

Time for round two of the quiz game. The questions here are more typical of later shows, with a blend of a humorous story with musical hints for the answers.

Time once again for a musical break where Kaye’s vocalists sing, Rhode Island is the Place for Me. The final round brings the winners of the first two rounds together to compete for the grand prize of war bonds. And of course, all the contestants get a little something.
