For once papa Bloom is not arguing with his two sons a lot. We find them in their movie studio enjoying a game of pinochle. Jake enjoys his chance at taking their money away in the card games.
The gents scramble to hide their cards, what the secretary announces the arrival of their wives. Yetta is not with them, so Sarah and mama talk about their shopping trip buying clothes for the twins. Under the guise of the need to do work, Sydney and Jake try to get their wise to take a tour of the studio in action. Are they being a little suspicious?
The ladies just want to get off of their feet, and the more the gents try to act normal, the more that Sarah thinks there is something fishy going on. The girls know that caught their husbands allying, and began to interrogate them. What was the important work they were doing before the ladies arrived? Why do they had trouble keeping their stories straight?
Is it safe for the gents to resume their game? Becky may have the final say on the matter.
