Today we join Annie and Joe as they visit Mr Barns. He tells them about the Wright brothers, and their first flight. He tells how their first experiments were 36 years earlier, and the inspirations that sparked their work.
Their first attempts at flight were in gliding, but it helped further develop their flying machine for powered flight, 33 years earlier. . Leaping’ lizards! They actually did it!
The story is interrupted by barking, and gunshots. Who did it? What did he want? Where did he go? Stay tuned kiddies.
