note: the date on this episode is probably incorrect.

Phil Harris substitutes again for Kaye kaiser, and is joined by the King Sisters. Transcribed with the Navy Fliers at Dodger Field. Phil jokes about the training and the local features at the base. Phil sings, The Braisen Little Raisen.

The first round of the quiz show kicks off, after a few words between Ishkabibble and Phil. Ishkabibble reads a poem about life in the insect world. The quiz is all about filling in blanks to a humorous story, with musical clues given by the band. Hints are often borderline on giving away the answers, but it’s all for fun.

The King Sisters are on hand to sing, I’ll Be Seeing You In All the Old Familiar Places. Round two of the quiz begins, but before the final round we take a musical break. The King Sisters sing, The Trolley Song.

The leaders of the earlier rounds get together to compete for the big prize. War bonds are awarded to the grand prize winner.

Note: Though the show is undated, some clues as to it’s original transcription are in the show. Phil refers to Kenny Baker being off the Jack Benny show for 3 or 4 years. That likely puts this show in 1941. Also the song, I’ll Walk Alone was just on the recent Hit Parade. If anybody can pinpoint that date, it will narrow it down closer.
