Elsewhere in the Blue Note, Casey talks with his friends about a string of seven murders and robberies of jewels. He even knows the name of the killer, Cecil Gramatan So, it’s not so much a matter of solving a mystery this time, but in learning the motives, and profiling the killer to try and anticipate his next move.
The race is on to keep the body count from raising higher. As wealthy diamond clad women drop like flies, Casey tries to pin the killer down by figuring out his psychological disfunction, and guessing his next move.
