Episodes are again missing, and we learn that it was Mr Flint who stole the money, and the mystery of previous shows. Now the shady banker is on the run, on this dark and stormy night, with the marshal and Annie hot on his heels. Annie comes up with a plan to find Mr Flint’s hideout.
The old Carson place seems the most likely spot for Flint, and his gang to be laying low. The rain is flooding the fields, and making the going tough. Jumping grasshoppers! Is the gang really hiding in the darkened Carson house?
Shucks! They escaped through a secret tunnel to the river bank. Does Annie know a short cut to head them off? As the posse chase the bad guys, to keep them from making a getaway across the bridge, Annie warns everybody to stay back. There’s something wrong with the bridge, and the flood water soon does its work.
