The ladies bring a meal of sandwiches to the table, and Sydney let’s mama know how he appreciates her handling the temperamental movie star. Becky warns that they shouldn’t gloat in the victory. She explains why it’s good to treat others with dignity.
She also settled some riffs that have existed since Jake was in the knee pants business. While the family should work to get along well, they also need their separate times apart. Jake is actually feeling better about liking Sydney and Harold.
